About PMF-National Council of Paramedical, Delhi
Why PMFNCP exists — the urgent need for paramedics
India and the world are facing a profound shortage of healthcare workers. The World Health Organization projects a global shortfall of roughly 11 million health workers by 2030, concentrated in low- and lower-middle-income countries — a crisis that directly affects health outcomes, access, and quality of care. PMFNCP believes paramedical professionals — technicians, technologists, nursing assistants, emergency care staff, diagnostic and lab personnel — are central to closing that gap.
World Health Organization
In India, multiple studies and government reviews highlight persistent shortages and imbalances in the health workforce: shortages among doctors, nurses and paramedics remain significant, while rural and public facilities are particularly strained. Improving the number, distribution and skills of paramedical staff is therefore a national priority. PMFNCP’s programs are designed to be practical, affordable, and widely available so that motivated learners from every region can become job-ready quickly.
What we do — practical, confidence-building training
PMFNCP runs a portfolio of short-term certificates, diplomas and one-year courses in paramedical and allied health disciplines, taught through an expanding network of training centers across India. Every program emphasizes:
i- Hands-on clinical and technical training (simulations, lab practice, case demonstrations)
ii- Assessment and competency checks (internal assessments, practical exams, viva voce)
iii-Career readiness (resume guidance, interview practice, placement assistance database)
iv- Ethical, patient-centered practice and community health orientation
Our courses are crafted to meet market needs — hospitals, diagnostic labs, emergency transport services, clinics, and home-care providers all seek well-trained paramedical staff. PMFNCP does not promise government job placements or guarantee government recognition for any specific role; instead, we guarantee rigorous training that enhances employability and real-world capability.
Reach and scale — building capacity nationwide
India trains hundreds of thousands of nurses and allied health professionals each year, and yet supply- demand mismatches remain. For example, nursing education institutions in India produce large annual cohorts, but recruitment patterns, retention and geographic distribution create gaps at the point of care. PMFNCP contributes by expanding local training capacity, particularly targeted at underserved districts and semi-urban/rural communities, so that talent is developed where it is needed most.
World Health Organization : Our commitment to quality and transparency
PMFNCP holds ISO 9001:2015 certification, reflecting our systems for quality management, transparent operations, and continual improvement. As an autonomous trust registered under the Trust Act, we operate with institutional governance and public accountability. PMFNCP is also registered on the DARPAN portal of NITI Aayog for its social initiatives, underlining our commitment to social impact and collaboration. (Organizational registrations and certifications are displayed in our official documentation and on the website for verification.)
Who benefits — students, employers, communities
Students gain practical skills, confidence, and a credible certificate that helps them find employment in private healthcare, start small diagnostic or home-care services, or pursue further training. Employers receive technicians and assistants who are trained to perform safely and effectively from day one.
Communities benefit when local health facilities have a stable, competent paramedical workforce — which improves diagnosis, speeds treatment, and strengthens primary and emergency care.
About Us — Our Story, Vision and Programs
Our Vision:

Our Mission:
(1) Provide accessible, high-quality, job-oriented paramedical education across India.
(2)Equip learners with the practical competencies demanded by hospitals, diagnostics centers, emergency services, and community health programmes.
(3)Uphold continuous quality improvement through ISO-aligned systems, trained faculty, and evidence- based curricula.
(4) Support placement linkage and entrepreneurship among graduates while remaining transparent about the limits of certificate recognition for government posts.
The evidence behind our work — data that matters
Global forecasts make clear that investment in the health workforce is also an investment in lives and the economy. Analyses indicate that addressing healthcare workforce shortages could avert millions of years of life lost and generate significant economic value. The projected global shortage of health workers underscores why focused, scalable training for paramedical cadres is strategic and necessary.
Specific to India, audits and sector reviews reveal considerable shortfalls in sanctioned versus filled positions for doctors, nurses and paramedics in public facilities; in some audits the overall vacancy rate reaches double-digit percentages across cadres, aggravating service delivery challenges in primary and secondary care. Strengthening paramedical capacities — from lab technicians to emergency medical technicians — is therefore critical to improving public health resilience and quality of care.
Our Programs — designed for impact
* PMFNCP offers a range of flexible programs tailored to learners and local health market demands:
*Certificate Courses (3–6 months) — For entry into frontline roles such as phlebotomy technician, ECG technician, patient care assistant, and basic lab support.
*Diploma & One-Year Programs — For more advanced competencies: anesthesia technician, radiology technician assistant, dialysis attendant, and emergency medical services support.
*Continuing Education & Short Modules — Upskilling modules (infection control, sample handling, medical documentation) to keep practicing staff current.
Each curriculum includes a strong practical component, supervised internships wherever possible, and competency evaluations. Internal assessments, practical's and viva voce ensure graduates are ready to perform the technical routines expected of them.
Ethical clarity and transparency:
PMFNCP is transparent about the scope and limitations of our certificates. While our training enhances employability in private and community health settings, we do not guarantee government job placement nor claim automatic government recognition for any certificate. We encourage learners to verify local regulatory and licensing requirements for certain roles (for example, running diagnostic services, establishing clinics, or roles that require statutory licensing). We also do not promise state or central government freeship /scholarship — students may apply independently to government schemes where eligible.
Partnerships and community engagement:
PMFNCP actively networks with local hospitals, diagnostic centers, NGOs and private healthcare providers to create practical exposure and placement linkages for students. Our registration on the DARPAN portal and our ISO certification reflect our dual commitments to social accountability and operational quality. We continuously seek partnerships that expand clinical exposure for trainees and strengthen employment pathways.
